Northwest Family YMCA

Community volunteers approached the YMCA of Greater Syracuse more than 10 years ago to build a Family YMCA in the Northwest suburbs. In 2006, the YMCA purchased a 21-acre property at the corner of Route 31 and Drake's Landing in the Town of Lysander to build the Northwest Family YMCA. 

YMCAs don’t build YMCAs, communities do. A group of volunteers is currently fundraising and designing the Northwest Family YMCA, which will prove to be both a community center and asset when it is complete. To date, community volunteers have raised nearly $2.4 million from individuals and businesses to build the Northwest Family YMCA.
